FIELDS and DIRECTIONS
Mahwah Baseball Field Directions (click the field name link for Google maps)
Betsy Ross 1 and 2 From Route 17 North, take the Island Rd exit. Turn right onto Airmont Road. Turn left onto Malcolm Road. Betsy Ross School is at 20 Malcolm Road.
Continental Soldiers Park
From Route 287 North take exit 66 (Mahwah) to Route 17 South. Follow Route 17 South about a half-mile to the Route 202 exit. At the end of the exit ramp make left turn onto 202 South. Continue on Route 202, past the traffic light at the entrance to Ramapo College. Field is just ahead on the right, after Halifax Road and before Darlington Avenue.
Fardale Field (On Chapel Road) This is the 50/70 Field for 5th and 6th Grade
Address: 39 Fardale Ave, Mahwah NJ (GW School) and then drive one more block to Chapel Rd.
From Mahwah and north of Mahwah - Route 17, take 202 South past Continental Soldiers Park (towards Oakland). Make the first left after Continental Soldiers onto Darlington Road (about 0.1 miles), and then the first right onto Campgaw Road (about 0.2 miles). Follow Campgaw about 2 miles (go over Route 287 and past Darlington Golf Course). Make a left onto Youngs Road and then the second right onto Chapel Road. The parking lot is on left, next to the field. The field in front with the grass infield is Fardale.
From south of Mahwah, (rte 17 headed north) exit in Ramsey (Lake Street Exit – just past Houlihans) stay right and head over rte 17 into Ramsey. Stay straight through Main street. Main becomes Wyckoff Ave (after you pass through town). Stay on Wyckoff Ave and turn right onto Fardale Ave. Turn right onto Chapel Rd (one block after George Washingon Elementary School. You may also use 39 Fardale Ave, Mahwah NJ (GW School) ad then drive one more block to Chapel Rd.
Fardale (George Washington Instructional Field) - This is the 46/60 field for 7,8,9,10 Year olds (1st- 4th grade)
Use the same directions to get to Fardale, but the field directly in back of George Washington school with the dirt infield is the George Washington Instructional field.
Address: 39 Fardale Ave, Mahwah NJ (GW School). When you enter school driveway, the parking lot is on your right. do not park under basketball courts.
Riverside Park Take 17 North and exit onto Route 202 (Suffern/Morristown). Stay right off the ramp onto Route 202 North.
Make left onto Reich Avenue, the street just past Mahwah Bar and Grill on right, and directly past Janek's Meat Market on the left. Follow Reich Avenue to Riverside Park. If you miss this turn, take the next left on Brakeshoe Place and follow this to Riverside Park.
If you park facing the fields, Riverside No. 1 is on the left and Riverside No. 2 is on the right.
Sam Braen and Airmont fields - The Minors Division plays on Sam Braen Field; (also the 9u and 10u travel) the Koufax division (and 13 and 14u travel) plays on Airmont, the larger baseball field.
This is at the corner of Airmount and Airmont Roads. You can also use Secor farms in Mahwah for your GPS. 168 Airmont Ave, Mahwah, NJ, US, 07430
From South:
Route 287 North take exit 66 to Route 17 South into Mahwah. Follow the long loop around, be careful to stay in one of the three left lanes and bear left onto Route 17 South (bearing right puts you on 287 South). Follow direction for Rte 17 South below
RTE 17 North (heading north), you should exit rte 17 onto Franklin Turnpike (just past Toyota). Stay on franklin turnpike about 1 mile and then make a right onto Airmount Rd. Field is at the top of the hill / end of the road on the left.
From North:
RTE 17 South (heading south), you should exit rte 17 onto Franklin Turnpike (just past interstate shopping). Stay on franklin turnpike about 1 mile and then make a right onto Airmount Rd. Field is at the top of the hill / end of the road on the left.
From NYS Thruway, exit onto Airmont Road. Follow Airmont road into NJ and the field is on the right.
Commodore Perry Field - Rte 17 North to Island road. Stay Straight through the light (at the exit ramp) on Island Road fr approx. 1 mile and Commodore Perry Field is on the Right
