Background Check and Badge Pick-Up |
TMYSB will be holding background checks
on Tuesday 12/16/2008, from 6 PM to 8
PM, at Continental Soldiers Park. If you
have had the background check performed
already, you can pick up your badge on
that date. The background check is
mandatory for all coaches.

Rutgers Certification Class |
|
TMYSB will be holding the Rutgers
Certification class Tuesday December 9 at 6:45PM
in the Senior Center of town hall. All
coaches are required to have this
certification.

RUTGERS "Sports Awareness for Educating Today's
Youth" Course
If you wish to be a
coach, assistant coach or even a
once in a while helper
in the town
of Mahwah you must attend the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y.
course. This course:
ˇ
Helps coaches minimize the risk of injury to young
athletes
ˇ Provides information about fundamental coaching
concepts
which enhances volunteer coaches' effectiveness
ˇ Provides partial protection from civil law suits
To be physically
on the field, you MUST take this course and have a
Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic Certification Card.
