Field Directions

From
Route 17 North, take the Island Rd exit.
Turn right onto Airmont Rd. Turn left onto Malcolm Road.
Betsy
Ross
School is at 20 Malcolm Road.
Route 287 North to exit 66 (Mahwah);
follow Route 17 South about a half-mile to the Route 202 exit. At
the end of the exit ramp make left turn (202 South). Continue on Route 202, past the traffic light at the entrance to
Ramapo College. Field is just ahead on the right, (after Halifax
Road and before Darlington Avenue.
From Route 17, take
202 South past Continental Soldiers Park (towards Oakland). Make the
first left after Continental Soldiers onto Darlington Road (approx.
0.1 miles), and then the first right onto Campgaw Road (approx. 0.2
miles). Follow Campgaw
approximately 2 miles (go over Route 287 and past Darlington Golf
Course). Make a left on
to Youngs Road and then the second right onto Chapel Road.
The
parking lot is on
left, next to the field. Field
in front with grass infield is Fardale Minors/Majors field.
Use the same
directions as for Fardale (Minors and Majors), except that the field
directly in back of George Washington school with the dirt infield
is the George Washington Instructional field
Take 17 North into Ramsey. You'll see the Lake Street exits near the
Pathmark shopping center. This is the first exit in the Ramsey area.
About 3.2 miles past Lake Street, exit onto Route 202,
Suffern/Morristown. The ramp forks, take the right fork onto Route
202.
In about .4 miles turn left on Reich Ave. This street is just after
you pass Mahwah Bar and Grill on right, directly past Janeks' Deli
on the left. Follow this street 1/4 mile to Riverside Park. If you miss this turn,
take the next left on Brakeshoe Place and follow this to Riverside
Park.
If you get as far as a traffic light at a train underpass, you went
too far. Try again.
If you park facing the fields, Riverside #1 is on the left and
Riverside #2 on the right.
Majors plays on Sam Braen Field. Soccer and Lacrosse play on
Memorial Field. Koufax plays on the large field.
Route 287N to Exit 66 for Route 17 S into Mahwah. Long loop around,
stay in one of the three left lanes and bear left onto Route 17 S.
(bearing right puts you back
on 287).
Go about 4 miles, and just past a car wash and a Dunkin Donuts on
the right, make a U-
Turn at the 2nd Lake
Street exit. Take 17 North. You'll also see signs for Franklin
Turnpike, but you're not going that far. You'll see a Macaroni Grill
and a Chili's on the right. Just past these restaurants there's a
Dunkin' Donuts. Turn right on Airmount Avenue, JUST BEFORE the
Dunkin' Donuts and JUST AFTER the Macaroni Grill/Chili's parking
lot.
Silver Creek Park is 1.9 miles ahead on the left, directly across
from Secors' Farms nursery.
